What this Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy covers Camp Fire USA treatment of personally identifiable information that Camp Fire collects when you are on the Camp Fire USA Official Alumni Web site or any other portion of this Web site, and when you use Camp Fire USA services.

Information Collection and Use

Camp Fire USA collects personally identifiable information when you register in the Camp Fire USA National "Alumni Registry," the WoHeLo Room; when you use or purchase certain Camp Fire USA products or services; or if you make a charitable donation to Camp Fire USA online.

When you register in the Camp Fire USA WoHeLo Room, we ask for your name, e-mail address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry and personal interests. Once you register with the Camp Fire USA National Alumni Registry and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

Camp Fire USA's National Alumni Registry also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Camp Fire USA cookie information and the page you requested. Camp Fire USA uses information for these general purposes: to customize the content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to contact you about special activities, new products and fundraising.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Camp Fire USA will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. Camp Fire USA will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

1. We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
2. We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Camp Fire USA to provide a product or service to you. Camp Fire USA gives you the ability to edit your National Alumni Registry information and preferences at any time, including whether you want Camp Fire USA to contact you about specials and new products. You may request deletion of your Camp Fire USA Official Alumni Web site account by sending an e-mail to alumniwebmaster@campfireusa.org.

Security

Your Camp Fire USA Account Information is password-protected for your privacy and security. In certain areas, Camp Fire USA uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Camp Fire USA may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information, we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our pages.
